Pass-or-refund guarantee: the conditions

It applies to each test in your order, on your first attempt only, with one full refund per order.
Before your test date, you must finish at least 90% of that test’s practice questions and score 80% or higher on at least 3 of its timed mock exams.
You must upload your FAA test score report within 30 days of the failed test.
During the early-buyer period, it covers the General test only, until Airframe and Powerplant launch.

What the conditions mean

Each test in your order. The guarantee is checked test by test. If you bought all three tests, each one counts separately, but the most you can get back is one full refund per order.
First attempt only. It covers the first time you take that FAA test after buying, not retakes.
Study before your test date. Our site keeps track of how many of a test’s practice questions you’ve finished and your timed mock exam scores. Both requirements must be met before the date of your FAA test.
Send your score report in time. Upload your FAA test score report within 30 days of the test you failed.
Early-buyer period. Until Airframe and Powerplant launch, the guarantee covers the General test only.

How to make a claim

Email [email protected] from the email address you bought with, and say which test you’re claiming for.
Upload your FAA test score report within 30 days of the failed test. We’ll tell you how.
We check your study record against the conditions above and tell you our decision.
If your claim is approved, we refund you through the payment provider you paid with.

Other refunds

Separate from this guarantee, you can get a full refund within 7 days of purchase if you’ve used less than 10% of the questions, and early bundle buyers get a full refund of the bundle if Airframe and Powerplant aren’t delivered by February 28, 2027. See the refund policy.
